What is the purpose of this document?

Monition Limited is a "data controller". This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal information about you. The kind of information we hold about you

In connection with your enquiry about our products and/ or services, or enquiry about an existing order or an enquiry about any employment vacancies, we will collect, store, and use the following categories of personal information about you:

  • The information you have provided to us in connection with your enquiry or in relation to your order or in your curriculum vitae and covering letter.
  • The information you have provided for the order or enquiry, or on our online ‘contact us’ form, including name, title, delivery address, billing address, payment information, telephone number, personal email address, date of birth, gender, employment history, qualifications.

  • Third parties, such as from providers of technical, payment and delivery services, recruitment agencies and referees

If you fail to provide personal information

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel your order for a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time. We will also not be able to process any employment application or enquiry.

Automated decision-making

You will not be subject to decisions that will have a significant impact on you based solely on automated decision-making.

Data sharing

Why might you share my personal information with third parties?

We will only share your personal information to specific internal third parties, external third parties and our professional advisers, unless required by law. All third parties are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information in line with our policies. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

Data retention

How long will you use my information for?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for seven years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.
